The Dyson blog: Artificial and Human Intelligence

This particular project is kind of weirdly specific, but it came about because of the fact that we decided to re-do the trim at the tops of our cabinets to give the whole room a more open and updated feel.

Anyway, here it is now!.Old shameful mess out, new organized shelving in!.

We can put stuff we use down there now!And find it again!.So for $454.44 we got a basement.

From what I’ve seen on DIY shows, the cost of adding a basement below a house is something like $100K, so I’d say we paid a fair price.Mostly, I’m pretty excited about the fact that I feel like I can actually.

I feel like I can think more clearly and I just feel more prepared for anything that life can throw at me.

It’s amazing what a little extra space can do!.As much as I thought I wanted a little curtain in here to bring in some soft fabric, I’m now pretty sure that I’ll just put the wreath back up that was there for the last year.

So you see, it’s a good thing that I have a fear of commitment and didn’t go out and buy a curtain rod like a sucker..So the hot glue will be popped off the frame and the wreath will go back up.

Oh, and I guess I should finish painting the walls too, huh?.As you can see, that’s underway!
